✨ Big News: A New Sustainable Collection Coming Your Way! ✨

Remember when I mentioned working on a brand-new collection? Well, I’ve been keeping a little secret... this time, it’s not paintings! 🎉

I’m diving into the world of fibre art and I'm excited to announce that I’ve been experimenting with weaving on my Rigid Heddle Loom. After a couple of years of learning, trial and error (and more than a few tangles in the process 😜), I’m working on a new collection of woven creations — and I can't wait to share them with you!

But here’s the best part: sustainability is at the heart of this new collection! 🌿 I’m committed to making eco-friendly art, and for this line, I’m using fibres made from recycled materials, preloved clothing, and waste from production. Not only does this keep things sustainable, but it also helps reduce waste in the textile industry.

And because I’m all about supporting local craftsmanship, I’m also incorporating local Kerry wool into my weavings — giving each piece that cozy, homegrown charm that makes it uniquely special. 🐑💚

Why Fibre Art? The choice to move into weaving is all about my ongoing commitment to creating art that feels both meaningful and mindful of our planet. Fibre art gives me the opportunity to explore texture, sustainability, and tradition in a way that’s truly personal. Plus, weaving is a fun way to create one-of-a-kind pieces that blend colour, texture, and eco-friendly materials — all while supporting a circular, sustainable creative process.

It’s been a learning journey, but I’m ready to take everything I’ve learned and bring you woven works that are as beautiful as they are environmentally conscious. 🌎✨
