Sayers Studio (Hannah Sayers) is committed to the highest standards of product safety as well as customer satisfaction. We therefore comply with the General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR) which is a EU regulation in place from December 13th, 2024. This legislation sets out strict requirements to protect consumers and ensure products available in the European market are safe for use.  
 

The General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR) 2023/988 replaces the older General Product Safety Directive (2001/95/EC) with new requirements to enhance the safety of all consumer products offered on the EU market both physically and online. It affects manufacturers, importers, distributors, and fulfilment service providers.

GPSR focuses on:

Minimising risks for consumers
Transparent information and warnings for users
Accountability for product safety across the entire supply chain
Strengthening traceability and recall procedures

My contact details as EU representative for Sayers Studio will be included with every parcel that is exported to the EU and Northern Ireland. As EU representative for Sayers Studio I will hold a spreadsheet of inventory for 10 years. As I am not able to attach labels to individual products (as it will damage the product) an invoice will be included with every parcel that will state the product names in order to ensure traceability. I will hold contact details of all my suppliers so that they can be contacted in order to ensure traceability. 
I am not liable for any non compliance of our suppliers 
I have not tested my products for flammability, as my products are mainly paper or fabric based which means that they are flammable if they come into contact with heat. Make sure all products are kept away from heat sources. My products are for display purposes and I do not advise that they are used for anything else

This relates only to orders going to the EU and Northern Ireland. Inside your order there will be an invoice that states the product names of everything you have ordered and product safety warning(s) related to your order if required. CHOKING/POSIONING HAZARD: Not for consumption, this is a product for display and should not been eaten.

Original Painting Warning

CAUTION CUT HAZARD: Careless contact may result in injury. May have sharp edges to painting or frame, also has screws or staples to keep the frame/stretcher bars together that may protrude from the piece.  

CHOKING/POSIONING HAZARD: Not for consumption, this is a product for display and should not been eaten.

CHOKING HAZARD: Some paintings have small parts such as screws, staples, hangers in the frame or stretcher bars that could result in choking. STRANGULATING/ENTANGLEMENT HAZARD: Cord warning, some paintings have cord or elastic on the back for wall-hanging and other strips of materials may pose a strangulating or entanglement risk, especially to children and vulnerable adults. Always keep out of reach of children and vulnerable adults.

RISK OF PUNCTURE WOUNDS OR INJURY: screws, pins, staples, hanging devices such as hooks and other small sharp frame tools may post a risk of puncture wounds or injury if handled incorrectly. Always keep out of reach of children and vulnerable adults. 

FABRIC WARNING I have not tested my fabrics/canvas/paper or other products for flammability, as their general composition is flammable when introduced to a heat source. I advise that my products are flammable and should be kept away from all heat sources. Make sure fabrics are kept away from heat sources. My products are for display purposes and I do not advise that they are used for anything else.

STRANGULATING/ENTANGLEMENT/SUFFOCATION HAZARD: fabric may pose a strangulating, entanglement or suffocation risk, especially to children and vulnerable adults. Always keep out of reach of children and vulnerable adults.

Fine Art Print & Art Print Warning

CAUTION CUT HAZARD: Careless contact may result in injury. May have sharp edges to print or frame, also has screws or staples to keep the frame together that may protrude from the piece. Some prints are framed behind glass, this may have sharp edges. If broken during transit glass posses as serious cut hazard and should be disposed of safety but adults over 18years old with proper safety precautions. For display purposes only and should be used by adults 18 years and over. Keep out of reach of children and vulnerable adults.

CHOKING HAZARD: Some prints are framed and have small parts such as screws, staples, hangers in the frame that could result in choking.
